Be Well™ is a new kind of rewards program. It is available as an app that can be downloaded to your phone, as well as a card that you can carry in your wallet.

Be Well puts health, wellness and rewards in one place that provides you with personalized offers to help you collect and redeem points as well as making your medication management simpler with a direct connection to your Rexall Pharmacy.

Be Well™ offers its members a single point of access to a suite of health and wellness services that make connecting with their Rexall pharmacy and medication management simpler. It also offers personalized promotions, incentives and rewards for shopping in-store at Rexall and online at Well.ca.

Be Well™ is like no other loyalty program currently on the market. It makes taking care of your well-being simpler and more rewarding than ever before. With helpful tools and advice, ability to collect and redeem points, Be Well™ puts health, wellness and rewards into one program.

In addition to earning rewards points on every dollar spent at Rexall™ locations across Canada and Well.ca, Be Well™ allows you to connect directly to your Rexall™ pharmacy, making medication management simpler.

Signing up is easy. In just a few easy steps you can get set up to earn points, discover special offers and simply manage your medication.

Step 1 – Get your Be Well™ card

  • Pick Up your Be Well™ card at your neighbourhood Rexall™ OR simply register for a digital card via the App

Step 2 – Use the Be Well™ app or visit letsbewell.ca to register your card and create an account.

  • An email address, a password, birthdate and postal code will be required

Step 3 – Confirm your account

  • You will be prompted to check your email to validate your account

Step 4 – Connect to your Rexall Pharmacy

Step 5 – Manage your prescriptions through the app

Step 6 – Link your Be Well account to your Well.ca account when you checkout on Well.ca

Anyone who is 14 years of age and a Canadian resident can sign up for and be a member of the Be Well™ program.

The Be Well app is not available for download in the US, and you must have a Canadian postal code to register.

There is no cost to join or be a member of the Be Well™ program. To start earning and collecting points, visit letsbewell.ca. You can also download a digital card through the app.

You can earn and redeem Be Well™ points on eligible purchases at any Rexall™ location across Canada.

You can earn Be Well™ points at Well.ca by qualifying for special offers and promotions. Points can also be redeemed on eligible purchases at Well.ca. 

To register a Be Well™ account, members must provide a valid email address, postal code and their date of birth. All personal data captured by Be Well™ is encrypted and securely stored. Our data centre has best-in-class security processes in place to ensure your information is safely stored and managed. If a Be Well™ member loses their card, we encourage them to call customer service immediately at 1-888-596-5131 to report the card as lost. The member can then pick up a new card in store and call customer service to have their old profile merged to their new card. Alternatively, if the member is using the Be Well™ App, the customer service agent can assign a new card to the member immediately when the card is reported lost.

At this time, only one person can be linked to a single Be Well™ account.

Caregivers

Persons in care who are 14 years or older, will need to visit or call their Rexall Pharmacy to provide permission for you to access their medication profile. You can set up a person in care profile, for those 13 or younger, by visiting or calling their Rexall Pharmacy yourself.

However many you need. There’s no limit to the number of person in care profiles a Caregiver can have.

Yes. Up to three Caregivers can be associated to a person in care.

Yes, but you need to get permission from Person In Care for each Rexall store separately

Yes. Call or visit your Rexall Pharmacy to add a person in care profile for your dog, cat or other pets.

Rewards/Points

You can collect Be Well™ points by presenting your card, or digital card from the app, to the cashier or scan it at self-checkout when completing a purchase at any Rexall™ location across Canada and your points will be added to your account balance.

When shopping at Well.ca, link your Be Well account to your Well.ca account during checkout by selecting the Link Be Well Card button. After you link your card once, your card details will be remembered every time you checkout. You will automatically earn points on any offers you qualify for.

When you have registered your card and earned more than 25,000 points you can begin to redeem and save. When making a purchase, you can choose whether to redeem your points or to keep collecting. If you wish to redeem your points when shopping in store at Rexall, simply let the cashier know that you will be using your points towards savings on your current purchase. 

If you wish to redeem your points when shopping online at Well.ca, use the redemption drop down to select the number of points you wish to redeem, and select apply.

For every dollar spent at a Rexall™ store, you earn 10 Be Well™ points. Look for special offers and promotions to earn more points at Rexall and Well.ca.
 

Every 25,000 points = $10 in redeemable value.

After two years of inactivity on a Be Well™ account, the points associated with that account will expire.

Most purchases from Rexall™ locations across Canada qualify for Be Well™ points. Some exceptions apply. Earn points at Well.ca by qualifying for special offers and promotions. 

Points cannot be collected or redeemed for any of the following products: 

Taxes, tobacco products, products containing codeine, lottery tickets, alcohol, bottle deposits, gift cards, prepaid cards, phone cards, event tickets, transit tickets and passes, post office transactions, stamps, passport photos, cash back, gifts with purchases, delivery charges, environmental levies, Home Health Care services/rentals, any other products or services that we may specify or where prohibited by law.

Points can only be transferred between accounts owned by the same Be Well™ member. Points cannot be transferred to other members including spouse, family or friends at this time.

All points earned related to the returned purchase will be forfeited. However, it’s easy to start earning again with exclusive access to special offers and rewards.

 

Be Well™ points can we redeemed for cash savings on eligible purchases. Products and services ineligible for earning or redeeming points are detailed in the program Terms & Conditions.

Yes! Be Well™ members will have exclusive access to in store events personalized and special offers to earn even more points at all Rexall™ locations across Canada. Be sure to activate your personalized offers via the app or website to earn bonus points. Be Well members can also earn points at Well.ca by qualifying for special offers and promotions. You can learn more about Be Well™ offers through the app, via email, in our weekly flyer and in store.

As a Be Well™ member, you can learn more about Be Well™ offers through the app, on the website, by email, in our weekly flyer and in store.

Yes, as a Be Well™ member, you will receive personalized offers from Rexall via the app, website or email. Personalized Well.ca offers are not available at this time.

Members who have registered their Be Well™ card will receive personalized offers via the app, website or email. These offers need to be activated within the Be Well™ App or Be Well™ Website prior to purchase to earn the applicable bonus points. Personalized Well.ca offers are not available at this time.

Be Well™ members can redeem points they have earned 12 hours after the transaction takes place.

 

At this time members cannot donate their points to the Rexall™ Care Network.

 

Every Be Well™ offer is different. Details for each offer can be found in the terms & conditions of the offer.

We do not offer a referral bonus for signing up new members. However, we do appreciate it when you tell others about your experience and encourage them to register.

Yes. The value of the returned purchase using Be Well™ points will be provided in the form of a gift card. For points redeemed at Well.ca, the value of the returned purchase using Be Well points will be awarded back to your Be Well account within 1 week.

Yes, you can. Points have a redeemable dollar value which means they can be used toward any purchase, including products eligible for other promotions. Please note that the minimum redemption is 25,000 points or $10 value.

There is a minimum redemption of 25,000 points or $10 value.  The maximum redemption within a 24-hour period is 500,000 points or $200 value. 

Rexall Pharmacy & Additional Benefits

Be Well™ points cannot be earned or redeemed on prescriptions and dispensing fees in some provinces. At this time, Be Well™ base points can only be earned or redeemed on the amount owed by the patient in MB, SK and NB. Laws in each province and territory are subject to change.

Patients can view their entire medication history (up to three years). Request a prescription transfer from any pharmacy. For all eligible medications, patients can refill their medications and fill new medications by taking a photo of the prescription and sending it to their pharmacy. Patients can also track the status of their prescription and be notified when it is ready for pick up.

Yes, you can link to your Rexall Pharmacy by setting up a patient profile through the Be Well app in a few easy steps. Once you are setup you can request a prescription transfer from any pharmacy or request a new prescription to be filled by taking a photo of your prescription.

Patients can track important health metrics by linking wearable devices to the Be Well™ app (e.g. heart rate monitor, step counter, etc.).

Yes, a patient can link more than one pharmacy to Be Well™.

Yes. The original copy of your prescription must be provided to the pharmacist when picking up a prescription which was submitted using the photo Rx functionality. 

In Alberta, Rexall pharmacies will start getting your prescription ready; however, we need the original prescription to finish filling it. In addition in Alberta, Rexall pharmacies are limited to data entry and stock verification to comply with local requirements.

General Technical

The Be Well™ app is supported on Android devices with version 8 or higher and iPhones with iOS14 or higher. You can also use the latest version of the Chrome and Firefox mobile browsers on your Android or Safari, Chrome and Firefox mobile browsers on your iPhone.

On your desktop, the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox and Edge are supported.

Yes. To use the Be Well™ app without an internet connection you first must enable the “keep me signed in” option on the sign-in screen and have been signed in within the past 12 hours. That way, your Be Well™ card will be available by clicking the barcode at the top right of the Be Well™ home screen even if you don’t have internet access.

To load your digital offers, you must be connected to the internet.

Your digital offers need an internet connection to load. (This can vary depending on the device.) Please make sure that you have an internet connection. If you’re still having issues loading your offers, please contact customer service at 1-888-596-5131.

If you’re having trouble signing into your account, tap the link under the credential fields on the home screen that says, “Forgot Password?”. From there, you’ll be prompted to enter the email associated to your Be Well™ account. A secure link will be sent to this email address where you can reset your password. You can also contact the Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131 if you require further assistance.

If you’re experiencing problems with the Be Well™ website, you can report a problem by contacting the Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131.

Typically, your points will be uploaded immediately to your account following a purchase. If your points haven’t loaded within 12 hours, please contact the Be Well™ Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131 for assistance.

Yes, of course. To have points added to your account after a purchase where you’ve forgotten your card, call the Be Well™ Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131. Please make sure to have proof of purchase when you contact the Customer Care Team.

Yes. The Be Well™ app allows you to have access to your account, even when you’re on the go.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, tap “Create Account” which will give you the option to “Register my physical Card”. To register your card, take a picture of the barcode on your card or you can manually enter the number into the app using the keypad on your phone.

If you have an existing account, please call the Be Well™ Customer Care Team to have your card added to your account.

While we’ll be sad to see you go, if you wish to cancel your account, you can do so at any time by contacting the Be Well™ Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131.

You can use the Be Well™ app to check your points balance. Once signed into your account, your points balance will be displayed at the top of the home page. You can also tap the barcode at the top of the screen to display your points balance.

If you forgot your Be Well™ membership card, but have the app on your phone, you can scan the barcode in the app to earn points. Or, if you know your card number, the cashier can manually enter the number at the time of transaction. You can also have your points added to your account by contacting the Be Well™ Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131. Please have proof of purchase ready when you call.

Your email address is part of your sign-in information. This allows you to conveniently reset your password through a secure link sent directly to your email.

If you opt-in, we can also share with you personalized offers and bonus offers. If you wish to opt-out of email correspondence from Be Well™, you can unsubscribe at any time.

To change or update your email address and/or password, click “Settings” at the bottom of the screen and select “Accounts”.


To edit your personal information, such as name, birthday or postal code, click “Profile”.

To reset your Be Well™ password, tap the link under the “sign-in” fields that says, “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen. You’ll be prompted to enter the email associated to your Be Well™ account. You’ll receive a secure link to that address where you can reset your password.

RBC Partnership

RBC and Rexall have partnered together to help you earn points faster. Link your Be Well card to all your eligible RBC debit and credit cards online so you can get 50 Be Well points per dollar on eligible purchases at participating Rexall locations.

Simply log in to RBC Online Banking to link your cards. Start now by:
1. Visiting here, or 
2. Sign into your RBC Online Banking, select the card you want to link and then select “Link or  update Be Well” on the right hand menu. 

You will need an eligible RBC debit or credit card to link with your Be Well Card. You can easily apply for a RBC financial product online by visiting here

Yes, you will need to scan your Be Well card before you pay with your linked RBC card to earn Be Well points.

When you link your cards, you consent to Royal Bank of Canada, Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd. and McKesson Canada Corporation (owner and administrator of the Be Well Program) sharing your personal information and communicating with you for the purpose of administering the program rewards and benefits. Personal information may include information about the first 6 digits of your RBC card number, the last 4 digits of your RBC card number, your Be Well card number, your Be Well email address, and your Be Well account status. For more information, please refer to the Terms & Conditions.

As a personal client, you can link all of your eligible RBC debit and RBC credit cards to one Be Well card.

If you are a co-applicant credit cardholder or joint account owner of a Deposit account, you will need to link your own cards separately from the primary credit cardholder or joint account owner. 

If you are  an authorized credit cardholder, you cannot link your card. The primary cardholder of the account will link your card to their Be Well Card.

If you are using an RBC card owned by another person, the card owner must link their card through their online banking.

As a business owner, you can link one Business Debit Card and up to 2 business credit cards. 

RBC Commercial credit cards, RBC Visa Prepaid Cards and RBC Virtual Visa Debit Cards are excluded from the program.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an additional security layer that requires members to provide two or more authentication factors to access their accounts.

MFA is a mandatory enhanced security feature for all Be Well members, which cannot be disabled.

You can try again entering the correct code or request a new code.

Entering the wrong MFA code 5 times will result in your account being locked for 5 minutes. After that, you can try again.

If you don't receive your MFA code, check your spam folder. If it's not there, request a code resend. If the issue persists, please contact the Be Well™ Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131.

MFA codes will only be sent to the email address you have registered to your Be Well account.
Currently, Be Well does not support the use of authentication apps or SMS for MFA codes.

You can sign out of all devices, including the one currently being used, by going to the "Security” settings and selecting the "Sign Out of All Devices" option.

Please contact the Be Well™ Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131 for support.

Following Be Well account creation, new members will be sent a 6-digit numeric MFA code to the email address used to set up the account. This MFA code must be entered first, to finalize setup, and gain full access to the app.

If you suspect unauthorized access, we recommend taking the following steps:

- Change your Be Well account password immediately.

- Access the “security” section of your Be Well account, and leverage the “sign out of all devices” option.

- Contact the Be Well™ Customer Care Team at 1-888-596-5131.

If you select “Trust this device” option, you’ll not be prompted for MFA code on subsequent logins.
